The idea for my web site is based in part on a quote from Jasper Johns. When he was asked to comment on his last retrospective at MOMA he replied that his idea of a retrospective was to show EVERYTHING. A web site, with all of its virtual space, is a good place to make myself vulnerable in this way. By not offering a highly edited web site I wish to expose my mental leaps and falls, showing connections between paintings and ideas that would not otherwise be visible.
